The Sentinel of Dingli

This is a tribute to the place where I grew up — Dingli, Malta — and to the radar that stood there, always watching, always present.

As a child, I spent so much time near it. With friends, with family, or on my own, just walking, thinking, and wondering about life. No matter what was going on, the radar was always there, standing tall on the cliffs, like a quiet part of the background that somehow made everything feel steady.

This building shaped like a golf ball became something special to me. It reminds me of the freedom of childhood, the peace of wide open skies, and all the memories I carry from that time.

This illustration is my way of saying thank you — to Dingli, to the radar, and to the moments that shaped me.
